Tips

The PopUp should automatically start when you start Windows, however, if your settings do not allow programs to start up upon booting your computer, you may need to open the Comsearch Live program through your 'Programs' file

To make any changes to the makes/models, year range, mile radius, or contact information, follow these instructions:

  1. Right-click the 'Comsearch Live' icon in your desktop tray (next to the clock on your screen)
  2. Click 'Settings'
  3. Click 'Comsearch Home' on the bottom of the Application Settings box - this will open a browser and show a login page
  4. Enter your assigned Procheck username and password
  5. Click the link at the top of the next page that says 'Update Profile'
  6. A browser page will pop up that shows your company's contact information at the top
    1. Review this information and make any necessary changes
      1. Make sure to use the name, email address, and phone number of the staff member who you would like to receive a follow up from your customer if they choose to order your part
  7. Note that you may also change the year range and mile radius that we use to filter the requests to send to you through the PopUp - these are under the 'Contact' field
  8. Scroll down to view the makes/models
    1. To change the vehicle makes, check or uncheck the boxes at the top of each category according to your current inventory
    2. To make your profile model specific, click any models under a make that you have in stock
      1. You must leave the vehicle make at the top of the box checked (or you will not view any requests on this type of vehicle)
      2. You may choose to keep some vehicles make-specific, and others model-specific; It is not necessary to check every model under a make if you carry all vehicles
  9. Be sure to return to the top of the page and click 'Update Profile' before closing the window to save your changes
